The "Liberty" Special

Liberty means freedom. When you’re traveling, you want to embrace that freedom and go where the wind takes you. Sometimes it takes you to places you might want to explore for more than a couple of days.

When a ship comes to dock and shore leave is granted a sailor may go on "liberty" for as much as a week and would need a place to stay as he explores the new port of call.
